SBA (Saudi Broadcasting Authority) approached MENA Bloom to manage its Snapchat channels, optimize its library of shows, and develop new shows that leveraged existing content to increase awareness, reach, and revenue during Ramadan 2021.

Our content editors, specialists, and publishers worked around the clock, editing and publishing episodes in a timely manner to create hype and boost the level of enjoyment for audiences. This overall strategy resulted in remarkable reach and awareness for the focused shows and channel as a whole, ultimately achieving the target of double revenue in comparison to Ramadan 2020.

The Process

  • Content Analysis
    Starting with a thorough analysis of one-year shows’ content published by SBA, our Snapchat content strategists identified key areas that required improvement and that could be executed in minimum time, while applying the best tools and techniques and following best practices and guidelines for faster results.
  • Repackaging Content
    To satisfy the unique tastes and requirements of SBA’s Snapchat followers, our content specialists keenly observed all shows that were best fit for reuse during the Ramadan season, to understand which could be repackaged into new, engaging content. We revised stories to attract Snapchat audiences, old and new, in more engaging ways, while maintaining the spirit of Ramadan in the minds of the audience. With this strategy, we designed stories to cover SBA’s 15 shows on the platform during Ramadan 2021.
